I've been wanting to try this flavor for the longest time, and finally tried it! I was expecting some tropical sensationisque sorbet taste, but it was very very creamy with pineapple chunks and coconut bits. I'm not much of a shredded coconut fan (although I love everything else coconut), so I don't enjoy the coconut bits, but do LOVE the pineapple chunks.
I'm still finishing up the pint, so I'm not sure if I'll love it till the very last bite- but you ice cream lovers out there should definitely give it a try! But I warned you- it's very creamy!
wow this is a tropical flavor! We have Buko (local Filipino term for coconut) ice cream and it's really refreshing, it tastes mildly sweet but I haven't tried pineapple ice cream before! I better hunt our Haagen Dazs if they stock up on this =p
