The picture doesn't make the onion ring *shine* like it should, but trust me, it tastes like heaven minus the cholesterol.
1 cup flour
1 T baking soda
1 t salt
1 c milk
1 c breadcrumb
2 c oil
1. mix the flour, baking soda and salt, and then add the egg and milk and whisk away....
2. In a seperate bowl, prepare the breadcrumb ( I usually grind my left over bread).
3. When the oil is ready, dip the onion in #1 and #2, and fry until golden brown.
4. Eat with ketchup!
