the weekend is here!

Yesterday I burned my three fingers when I grabbed my oven-baked dish to cut the potatoes inside it. And it hurt...a lot...but I'm okay now! I put ice on it for an hour and then applied neosporin and bandaid. I heard you can also put toothpaste and raw potato on it, but didn't try it this time.

what an idiot!

I think we will be watching the new Shrek movie over memorial weekend. Has anyone seen it yet? I remember sleeping through Shrek 3, so I definitely hope its better than that one! Have a great weekend everybody!

Raspberries

We had raspberries yesterday, and they were very, very good! Did you know that you're not supposed to wash raspberries?! I still rinsed them in water anyways....and do the same for mushrooms too! Just can't help it!

Pizza

Yesterday we ordered New York style pizza and it was so good! But I couldn't help but wonder...where does all the grease/oil come from? I had to dab it with the napkins (kind of fun) like the blue oil paper on the face.

I have a question I've been wanting to ask for quite a while now. Why does milk get all chunky and clumpy even if it's not passed the expiration date? Is it because I let "air" come in contact with it? At first I thought it was because of my fridge temperature, but it's not. I'm starting to get a little pissed when I try to have some late night cereal and the milk is all jiggly.

Late Night Snack

For our late night snack, we had our nightly dose of s'mores, and me being the genius decided to make rice krispies with the left over marshmallows.

The last time I made rice krispie treats was when I was 8...and I remember mixing the marshmallows and butter. It tasted something like it!

And an hour later......my stomach started to growl, so we ended up making the favorite late night snack, ramen!

There was an article in the New York Times of growing plants upside down to avoid pests...I think it's genius and wondering if I should convert as well...

Aftermath

These models are not falling! They are strking a pose...on the floor...

It's hard to walk in those shoes, but it's harder to get up! If these girls can't pull it off, no one can...or maybe lady gaga can : )

Crazy Heels

The last ones by the late Alexander McQueen look crazy to me, but the craziest thing is that these shoes are all probably from high-end brands! Tomorrow I will have a post that shows the consequences of wearing these crazy shoes tomorrow!

Hot Sauce and more...

We ordered a bucket of wings and a coleslaw for two, and asked them for some hot sauce. Look how much the lady gave us! I wouldn't be happy if I was the manager, but the customer is very pleased : ) I will use it to dip it in every possible chicken dish I make!

S'mores!

I went to target yesterday and they had a s'mores section which I just couldn't pass, so look what our late night snack was:

Building the campfire was actually easier than we thought...put the oven on broil and put it in for 30 seconds...you need to peer into the oven and make sure that the marshmallows don't burn. The above color is just about right, or maybe a little over-done. Good Luck!

Dream Tub

I am a total bath freak, so when I saw this, I just HAD to share this with you:

I always thought that with digital cameras, kodak would go bankrupt since their film market is so big, but am really surprised they actually came up with it!

California Rolls

I made california rolls at 1am. It took me literally 10 minutes, and what a mess! But it still tasted like california rolls!

It's so hard to cut...the seawood always seems to "cling" to the knife and the avocado oozes out all over the place!

Choking Chocolate Syrup

While at Hershey's, we saw a choking chocolate syrup. The little boy in blue had stuffed his toy down the syrup's mouth, and the moms were like "Oh my god! he's choking!" and the syrup dude started acting like he really was! It was kind of cute :)

The syrups manager (in green) knew there was trouble and started calling someone for help (I think...).

I can't believe I managed to take this picture since we were walking real fast to get to the next ride...but I insisted that I had to take pictures for my blog friends~ tee hee!
