Since its November, and there aren't much "seasonal" fruits, I've been turning to imported fruits.
longan....tastes somewhat similar to lychee, but this one had a weird after taste
my favorite red papaya~ it's an acquired taste but SO good!
I bought blackberries from wholefoods today...first time actually trying it out! Will blog about it later :)
Papaya is probably my least favorite fruit.

ReplyDeleteReally? You are just discovering blackberries? I hope you enjoyed them. Love them. I pick them fresh late every summer here in the southern part of the U.S.
ReplyDeleteLongan needs to be perfectly ripe and very fresh to be delicious. I LOVE it--as I love everything Thai. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
I love longans if they are really fresh...not if the fruits has dropped off the stem, I think that's when they taste funky. I am not into ripen papayas but those green ones are great for pickles!
ReplyDeletePresently no more longan sales in our country now. I like to eat as it so sweet. Papaya is my favourite almost every will have it.
