@ Epcot!

 

Epcot has a whole greenhouse that produces veggies and fish for the Disney restaurants. If you have visited, you may have taken the boat ride (that's what we did last time) but this time we paid $16 to go behind the seeds! Totally worth it!

This is how they shape their mickey mouse veggies. Put it in that little plastic case and let it grow ears.

Our guide explaining to us that the tomato plant/tree (behind) produced a load of tomatoes.

cotton- I don't know what they would use this for. Maybe pillows and blankets for the resort? I think she said something about using it for cooking....

They also have fish and alligators.

Harry Potter's favorite candy store!

We bought the every flavor jelly beans and the chocolate frog. Very expensive, but still bought it.

 There is a big chocolate frog inside. Not that special.

Tastes like the Cadbury Easter Bunny chocolate.

We got Hufflepuff.

Stuck in Splash Mountain

When you stay at a Disney Resort, you get something called the Extra Magic Hours. They open a hour early in the morning or in the night so that resort guests can enjoy the park without the hustle bustle. So we had our time at Magic Kingdom from 12pm-2am, and ran to Splash Mountain. The line was pretty short as the parade just ended and people started leaving the park, so we called ourselves lucky troopers. By the time we were on the long on our way to the bear's nest, we realized that something was wrong.

We could see 4 logs in front of us, and 2 behind. We were stuck in the middle of the ride for more than 20 minutes, and they kept telling us to sit tight in the log. But people started to complain that they had to go to the bathroom so the crew came up to lead us down the mountain.

I can tell you that people were excited at first, and then got really really pissed.

What an experience!

More Harry Potter

Truthfully, I can't really say that I'm a Harry Potter fan since I gave up on the 3rd book and the 4th movie. It was really embarassing to not be able to name these things when other people were like "Oh! It's the blah blah!", so I just snapped pictures of them.

Butter Beer and Pumpkin Juice

pumpkin juice - tastes like apple/pumpkin cider

Hogsmeade - looks "cool" but was very hot!

Butter Beer - tastes like buttery cream soda. Tastes exactly like what I imagined! However it was very sweet and kind of gave me a stomache-ache afterwards...also has a weird after taste, but don't know if it was because of the butter beer or the pumpkin juice ;)

Midway Mania

Mr. Pineapple Man in Toy Story Land. This ride is by far the BEST ride! The approximate wait time is more than 100 minutes, and the fast pass runs out by 10:00 am. No wonder people were running to get to this ride at opening time! Mr. Pineapple was well prepared for the ride and was able to ride it 3 times!!

I am back with lots and lots of pictures! I think the trip will cover 2 months of my blogging : )

Ready for the Sun!

I have hinted that I will be on vacation next week, and I finally found my perfect sunblock! I used to use the biore that I purchased while visiting Tokyo, but since they don't sell it in the U.S., I've been searching for something similar. This milky, easy-to-apply texture keeps my face matte, and there are no white streaks. La Roche Posay once again didn't fail me, and I think it's even better than the biore : )

 I hope that this sucker will keep my face safe from the UV rays. Now I need to find the perfect body sunblock. Any suggestions? I've been using hawaiian tropic I bought in Hawaii ; )

Alligator

This Australian alligator is fat because it ate a cow....literally.

What is the difference between an alligator and a crocodile? something to do with the teeth? I was just wondering if I was the only person that didn't know the difference...I should look it up myself : )
