Ohana

For dinner, we went to my favorite Disney World restaurant, Ohana, at the Polynesian Resort.

We arrived a little early and had a beer while waiting for our seats.

 There's a new Ben's Chili Bowl in Reagan National Airport.

We got the famous half smoked and chili fries. So good!

Bob's Shanghai

We had dinner at Bob's last night and Fuchiko (and Mr. P) tagged along. I must admit that it was quite embarrassing taking the photos (the place was crowded and we were literally 3 inches away from the next table). I will have to reconsider taking her to crowded restaurants.

We visited IN-N-OUT and look at their prices! Still the same! (I think...)

Mr. P got the double double and fries. Did you know that they also have monster style french fries? It's not on the menu, but you can supposedly "secretly" order it.

Taiwanese Food

I'm not sure if this is Taiwanese or Chinese food, but I had it when I was in Taiwan, so I call it Taiwanese :)

Hakata Ramen

Over the weekend, the hubs took me to a ramen place that he had found online. Hakata ramen is one of my favorite foods and is very hard to make and find in the US. There was an incredible wait time, but I was beaming the whole time!

The place was owned by a taiwanese chef, so we started out with the apple sidra.

Of course, we had to order the pan fried pork dumplings.

And the ramen!!!! I actually ordered extra noodles :) So so so good!

Chirashi to-go!

My favorite Japanese food is hakata ramen and chirashi. Although there is no hakata ramen where I live, there is a sushi place with AMAZING chirashi :)

This was for lunch so I felt like vegetable chirashi~ so so good!

My favorite is the inari (fried tofu skin) and the burdock root :)

Mr. P had some gyros and french fries:

some were crispy and some were soggy...I was wondering, does everyone like crispy fries? cause I sure do! I always look for the end pieces since those are the crispiest (and most unhealthy) haha

Georgetown Cupcake

Finally we got to taste some georgetown cupcakes!

I wish they were so much bigger. 1 doesn't do it for me...and 2 gives me guilt.

The frosting was amazing! and the cake was moist~

Thank god I didn't have to stand in this line! I can see what the wait is all about-love this place!

Hot Dog

We had hot dogs and they were mighty good. Looks like we had too much mustard...

Blizzard

Last night we went to Dairy Queen to go get the "buy 1 blizzard, get 1 for 25 cents".

I got this....but I couldn't finish it last night (I have to admit that it didn't do somersaults in my mouth), so I'm eating it now. Love leftovers!

It's a great deal, so don't miss out!

hakata ramen! also known as tonkotsu ramen...very very very good! The goodness is measured by whether you can finish it or not..sometimes the broth gets really greasy and it gets to your stomach (yuk).
