Dinner at La Madeleine
the rotisserie chicken...the rice was very very delicious! wish I could make it at home. What kind of rice do I have to use? I made spanish rice today with long grain rice, but it wasn't like the stuff I eat at Mexican restaurants....a little bummed out :(
french vanilla tart. VERY, VERY good. I had half last night and finished the rest for breakfast!

My Current Obsession
I need my weekly fix of pho with lots of bean sprouts!
This was my favorite childhood drink from au bon pain and recently started drinking it again. For some reason it feels healthier than fanta. Maybe because it comes in a bottle?
Hope this works...it's suppose to diminish all kinds of spots (sorry, freckles are forever...says the box)

my favorite red papaya~ it's an acquired taste but SO good!
I bought blackberries from wholefoods today...first time actually trying it out! Will blog about it later :)

Freaky Friday
More like stupid friday... first I wake up in the morning, open my fridge, and find last night's ice cream...
all melted...
And then I go get some hot chocolate from starbucks, close the lid (so I think) and take a sip thinking to myself "I better not burn my tongue"....and then I feel hotness on my tummy and then my toes. So I look down and see what I have created. Ta-da!
should have done this for halloween with fruit punch...looks like I got shot
and the hot chocolate went through my sneakers onto my socks! GAH!

Diner Food
We recently visited the Silver Diner in front of our house and were pleasantly surprised with the good food they had. At first it seemed a little pricey considering it to be a "diner", but I guess they use good ingredients as they advertise to do.
egg blt with cranberry cole slaw (which I didn't love)
country sampler with pancakes.....the butter was sooooooooooo good (I'm a sucka for butter)
Just wish that the price was a little cheaper...we went for breakfast and the bill came out similar to our dinner at a nice Mexican restaurant!!

Wrinkle Pads
To my beauty bloggers: Help me!!
I want to buy some wrinkle pads for my forehead...which has FINE lines whenever I look "up". So after a quick search on Sephora, I found this:
It's from Peter Thomas Roth (have never heard of this company...yet), and it sounds too good to be true. "The result: tighter pores, clear skin and disappearance of fine lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tone. Leaves skin soft, smooth, firm and revitalized. " It's $45, so I wanted some confirmation from my beauty junkies! Should I try it or not?
