Garrett Popcorn

My friend brought me back the most delicious popcorn from New York! (I think Garrett is a Chicago thing but you know how New York has everything!)

Mah na mah na!

We re-watched the muppets this weekend on DVD! I was waiting for it to come out on DVD as it is my new favorite movie:

I was never a fan of the muppets- (I only knew kermit and miss piggy) but this movie is so well made! There is so much humor and I think adults will enjoy it just as much!
I always wondered how the muppets talked and moved...I guess these pictures explain everything.

Walter- my favorite character

The songs were awesome and Amy Adams is too funny! You must watch it if you haven't yet!

Harry Potter 7

Did everyone watch the new Harry Potter movie? The records sure looks like it! People were waiting (some dressed up as characters) from 7pm on Thursday for the 12 pm showing. I actually watched it myself in 3D(didn't watch deathly hallows part 1) and surprisingly enjoyed it. Hate the glasses and can't quite tell the difference after 10 min, but I guess we have to use new technology. I was quite sad that there was no feasting scenes, but ABC had plenty of re-runs this weekend.

2012

Loved it.
Don't read if you haven't watched it yet.
John Cusack comes out as a very lucky guy, dodging every possible falling object, and meeting the right people at the very right time. But I have to admit that I loved this movie and thought it was very entertaining. I just hope that the movie isn't true, because I certainly can't afford a seat in the ark.

Alice in Underland

Did everyone watch this movie? What a disaster...I'm not much of a movie fan, but after visiting Disney World and all, I felt obligated in watching it "in amazing 3D". First of all, I was confused with all the barely-there 3D action, and the screen seemed very dark...or maybe my theater sucked. Alice was so emotionless and uninspiring- what a bore!
On a brighter note, this woman is Tim Burton's girlfriend! Can you believe that this fact was the most interesting thing out of the whole movie? She also came out in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as Charlie's mother...loving the big head!

NANA

I feel like a cheeseball writing about manga, but a couple of days ago, I started reading nana again and realized how entertaining manga is! Having learned Japanese a couple of years ago, the english translations seem very unnatural, but nevertheless it is a guilty pleasure.

Nana, Volume 1

These two girls with the same name, Nana, end up living together in Tokyo, and so the story goes. It has been also made into a movie starring Nakashima Mika and and Miyazaki Aoi.
